we look to the past historic experience to guess the future
look at an apple it can be pies, tarts, fritters… or just an apple
to contain nature we must understand nature will not be contained
beauty surrounds us even if sometimes it hides behind ugliness
the cool autumn air brings change that some will embrace and others will curse
when beauty begins to grow in the cracks, people will fill in those cracks
we wake to today from dreams our subconscious wrote to fix yesterday
the day’s frustrations fall away in the face of delicate beauty
we try to adjust our eyes to see in the fog we should use our ears
for hours each day the morning glory shows off for cars that can’t see
