there’s often the sense . of being watched, passively . judged without comment
there used to be signs . now we no longer wonder . if someone’s watching
the storefront santa . has little option but watch . as the world rolls by
hiding in plain sight . someone is always watching . for their own reasons
what we are watching . for fun or out of concern . shows what we value
as dawn breaks softly . the world wakes up in motion . there’s so much to see
the lone sentinel . silently watching, we pay . no attention to
all the things to see when sitting beside the road as time passes by
it’s best to assume someone is always watching and act like they are
