the truth doesn’t hurt unless you’ve been relying on dishonesty
we buy substitutes for actual things and get artificial truths
we can find the truth if we can separate it from all the chaos
without the context we can only take a guess at what is the truth
upon second glance the truth that i saw became merely illusion
something is true if it can be proved; whether we believe it or not
the image we’re shown is meant to tell a story but seldom the truth
the truth often lies not in one place, but rather where ideas meet
it doesn’t matter that we want it to be true if it is not true
