only in stillness can we observe what we’ve made a world of chaos
only in stillness can we find the conditions for true reflection
in the stillness is energy that we ignore at our own peril
it is rebellion to appreciate stillness in a noisy world
even in stillness you can find energy that inspires motion
today i’m content but i know the bridge is there when i need to cross
stop for a minute and relax into stillness and see what gathers
