the sign, forgotten . after completing its job . remains in its place
there is a place and time . for every dirty task . just look for the signs
when faced with a choice . knowledge says look for a sign . wisdom knows which one
too often in life . there are signs of what’s to come . that go unheeded
to fight against signs . wastes energy better spent . in exploration
not every path is obvious, but sometimes we can see the signs
the signs are all there we can heed their warnings; or choose to ignore them
when there is a sign that doesn’t mean what it says we should ignore it
the path most taken is the path that goes around the sign that says ‘closed’
the signs remind me when the seasons change, so do the hazards we face
