we can get worn out by struggle and hardship but mostly it’s just life
i get the feeling every now and again that i’m being watched
be sure to lock it to a post in a safe place just don’t forget where
the shadows we cast say more about who we are than do reflections
a note of warning that your dog should stay away painted on a stick
moving back and forth there’s a subtle give and take in everything
sometimes life just takes but we keep showing up and giving even more
tension feeds progress through dynamic creation but what feeds tension?
by the time the mind builds up our anxiety the moment has passed
a small reminder of a long ago glory now just collects dust
