our clan’s traditions help define who we are as individuals
where are we going? forward. will there be danger? just watch for the signs.
sometimes the warning seems more motivated by self preservation
are we more afraid that others are listening? or that they are not?
the original intent no longer matters only the result
a simple detail of basic materials adds discrete beauty
we deny aging through polish and paint, but time moves on regardless
even when tired sometimes the better choice is to remain standing
we once climbed mountains searching for enlightenment now we just build them
a mouse in a box at any other time would be cause for screaming
