the dangers we face are not as threatening as those we imagine
some things lend themselves to giving us direction without us knowing
after a while the word used to describe it no longer applies
we all like to help but given what we have, can only do so much
those who stand to gain cannot be trusted to say if the threat is real
life is serious but sometimes we can take it too seriously
i can imagine dozens of uses but not the actual one
the trick is to keep the dreams we had when younger as we grow older
it’s a constant fight as we pretend to deny our fear of the dark
we all have those times when the world is just too big and we need to hide
