i’m always surprised to see a face staring back where one shouldn’t be
our future depends on being able to see off in the distance
something leftover a piece that is unneeded yet necessary
we may not notice the forces that shape us but we should be aware
when the sign says Park i expect a place to play that’s not what i get
not every light is meant to provide guidance some are just for show
we all could use a reminder that we are all in this together
there will always be something getting in the way yet we can still grow
in time, we always forget about things that were once valuable
someone marks a spot and we may never know why but we know they cared
