what we think matters in life, is where we focus; the things we cling to
we are taught to climb the barriers, not to look at what lies beyond
we cannot go backbut it’s good to remember our bad decisions
when we lend a hand we really give it away and grow another
on an easy path . the mind is free to wander; . obstacles are few
more of our leaders . need to first be a teacher . not just a preacher
in the face of change true courage is to stand; meet it honestly
to find happiness we must be comfortable alone with ourselves
a quilt is just rags . until every fabric swatch . is stitched together
