expected changes . as summer gives way to fall . never disappoint
when the lilacs bloom . filling the air with fragrance . the snow shovel’s done
the shift is subtle . and without a calendar . would go unnoticed
just when one season . becomes too familiar . it becomes the next
in changing seasons . it’s easier to disguise . personal changes
the signs remind me when the seasons change, so do the hazards we face
it’s time once again to put away the summer and unpack winter
