there’s no reason to take up more space than we need so we can feel safe
things that keep us safe we cannot take for granted they can turn on us
if we’re distracted we tend to be unsafe, says the distracting sign
well lit in the night it looks like safety, or the teeth of a monster
a secluded spot far from someone who can help this is just for show
there is a comfort in a soft glow that creates a sense of safety
if you want power stir up people’s fears and then promise them safety
when it’s overdone concern for our safety will step on our freedom
caution, you’ve been warned if you cross that line; proceed and you’re on your own
bad things can happen that prevent bad decisions and help us stay safe
