from a sheltered spot . the thunderstorm can be seen . as entertaining
a couple of birds . in every flock, will stand watch . so others can eat
overnight thunder . rolled through just distant enough . to romanticize
in uncertain times . it’s still possible to find . a safe passage home
a welcoming light . makes the winter alley safe . even passing by
in the midst of change greater caution is required; threats hide in plain sight
to be truly safe is to fully understand what the danger is
when the storms roll in we retreat to our safe place and hope for the best
it’s hard to feel safe when the headline says panic maybe that’s their goal
we may not see it but someone has determined a need for caution
