we spend so much time focused on reflection that we lose what is now
the least crowded space in urban life is reserved for our pet machines
if what’s being said is not clear, the message might not be meant for me
based on perspective something said can take on a different meaning
our first reaction to any situation is emotional
when we feel pressure we should have a gauge; and a valve to release it
something as simple as just paying attention has become novel
there’s no reason to take up more space than we need so we can feel safe
we offer advice oftentimes as a way to reassure ourselves
there is a pattern in everything; which is why we don’t notice
