some people will base their serious beliefs on an obvious joke
not everyone has a cat that will assist in washing their hands
just to face the day can these days be considered an accomplishment
sometimes instructions require extra emphasis to drive the point home
without the context it can be hard to know who the message is for
we know it’s coming we’ve been warned; but some of us refuse to believe
nobody can say what normal will be when we return to normal
after all of this normal will be different when we reopen
it’s almost as if yesterday’s weather scolded for not staying home
it is quite common to say we just need some space while trying to heal
