nothing represents an idea or a place unless we let it
believe in magic even if you understand how the trick is done
maybe the monkey represents human struggle but probably not
even in darkness there are signs of hope, if we are open to them
to see potential where others do not is where optimism grows
live in the moment because in the beginning we know the ending
viewed as half-empty or half-full, either way it’s only half a glass
it’s not elegant but for what it needs to do it does perfectly
we live our stories based on all of the things that we might not notice
