it’s something simple not complicated; that brings comfort to your day
seen from my window the world looks the same, but feels very different
if the path is there in the daylight, it’s also there in the darkness
in the morning dark a robin sings, laying claim to the start of day
it doesn’t take much to build a habit out of simple behaviors
some need a reason to do the right thing, others do it on their own
if you can’t find light in the darkness, make your own to share with others
we must take caution in uncertain times to not let it become fear
what might have seemed odd or overkill just last month now seems to make sense
if i didn’t know why the streets are so empty i would enjoy this
