if we remember truthfully of that moment we truly lived it
the orange is peeled but not yet eaten, we hope to not be let down
each of our actions carries unknown possible reactions with it
change isn’t always positive; but it’s always inevitable
people imagine magical creatures exist to solve their problems
a wish only works when treated like a mirror directed inward
maybe there are folks who don’t believe in winter until it gets here
it takes energy to fully digest something we shouldn’t rush it
we have been programmed to need to be reminded to feel gratitude
we anticipate the expected, but can’t see the unexpected
