with a shoveled path . the world has been reopened . and sundogs can play
with every change . what is carried from the past . is the new normal
an overnight change . often comes with a warning . and comes on slowly
the path was altered . overnight, staying the course . will no longer work
nature is conquered . or so we’d like to believe . but nature just laughs
winter has away . of forcing a decision . questions are answered
to go or to stay . enjoy the view or chase one .binary questions
lost in the frozen . ice on the window, outside . loses interest
what we are watching . for fun or out of concern . shows what we value
what’s in the distance . can be anything we want . until we get there
