to create a sense of place, we will often build artificial space
the longer we stay in one place, the more it feels as if we belong
it doesn’t matter if were walking together we share the same place
if you’ve been somewhere you know it, otherwise it could be anywhere
the name of a place is just someone’s idea drawn onto a map
to live in the now we must stop moving and watch the world keep turning
to bloom in a place that is not well tended makes beauty more precious
we tend to forget just how fortunate we are to have a safe place
we may not notice that we notice when something appears out of place
there’s always the chance that the place we end up won’t be to our liking
