why are we festive at winter’s beginning and not at winter’s worst
even the obsurd seen frequently, can become a reality
there are those days when the notebook stares back at you waiting for something
beauty will find us but we will not notice if we are not awake
it’s not in our best interests to only see what we’re looking for
the biggest reason we decorate is to tell others who we are
taking the long view is sometimes the only way to make sense today
a festive blur and a toast to memories and this year can be done
peel back the layers because it is what’s inside that really does count
a lamp lights a spot but, bounce the light off a wall and you’ll light a room
