the secret is not to want more, it is to want to understand more
it seems odd this year to see the decorations the same as last year
the darkest winter days can always be made bright when we make sunshine
the more that i learn the more that i realize how little i know
we cannot expect to understand at first glance it takes persistence
before we can know we must take the time to learn and, often, unlearn
in the letting go of what we no longer need we make space to breathe
like a tree reaching for the sky; i remember to relax and breathe
if it was easy each of us would be doing the exact same thing
