the morning started without me, so i’m waiting for it to slow down
some wait patientlyfor it to be the right timebefore jumping in
ice locks the windows to the outside world; patience knows they will open
we cannot expect to understand at first glance it takes persistence
relax, have a seat breathe deeply; we cannot do more than we can do
the flower worries not; the sun will always shine eventually
when caught in a storm it is best to hold on tight and look for rainbows
to protect the tree the flowers wait to open ‘til the time is right
patience is easy when you know how long you’ll wait before the next train
even if we can see the target, hitting it is not guaranteed
