the path i follow isn’t the same direction as the tracks were laid
because we can see where we are headed, we think we know the future
once, the path was clear but now it will take hard work to find it again
in fresh snow we see the paths that people follow: mostly the same one
the scariest path that we can walk is in our imagination
the path is obscured but we cannot be deterred we have to push on
we find our own path but oftentimes it has been cleared by someone else
paths are created because someone wants control over what we do
it isn’t often that the path we need to take is made obvious
