concerned with what’s next . we lose sight of the right now . and all that it holds
recent history . is easily forgotten . as it’s now the past
with every change . what is carried from the past . is the new normal
follow the lifelines . and the future will arrive .in the next moment
to see the future . is to look for the lifelines . laid out by the past
memories remain . but the past feels different . than when it was new
looking to the past . at what’s no longer needed . informs the future
in looking backward . with mixed emotions we know . we’ll never return
off in the distance . is the future and the past . we stand in between
