the flower is not showing off for us, it is trying to survive
even in darkness there are signs of hope, if we are open to them
a flower opens not for our benefit, but for its survival
it’s when we’re open that we’re most vulnerable and able to think
beauty is only revealed when we are open and vulnerable
a new idea can become an old friend if we’re open to it
it says “open” but i’m guessing that it is not an invitation
just like the flower in order to receive light one must be open
we can’t see beauty unless we first are open with a quiet heart
to be curious sometimes means being open when others are not
