the storm cloud has passed but we still check the forecast before heading out
seeing the outside very rarely lets us know what happens inside
we don’t need to guess what a boat is, even when sitting on dry land
a door we’ve passed through before can still hide puzzles we have yet to solve
we used to believe that all lights in the night sky were mystical gods
we can’t know something unless we have something else to compare it to
knowledge is power but only if we can learn what we need to know
in order to know we must first be willing to forgo what we think
if all we can see is the surface, then that is the story we’re told
often when we’re stuck we fight to break free; rather than learn why we’re stuck
