subtle influence . is everywhere, waiting . for our attention
we are influenced . by the colors and the names . though they’re all the same
in the flow of time . influences are observed . and soon forgotten
outside influence . is often an unseen hand . guiding reactions
autumn leaves explode . but the morning light chooses . which ones to highlight
when a trickster shows . their true face, it is easy . to not believe it
high above the trail . a sign from another time . says there’s no clearance
