nature doesn’t care if it is thinking inside or outside the box
seen from a distance the most desolate places can seem beautiful
the ground dwelling bird does not stare up at the tree looking for its nest
under the same sky we are taught to believe that it is different
nature keeps trying but doesn’t care if we are here to notice it
a blanket of snow will gladly cover the sins of the forgetful
arrested in time we can observe what happens when the world slows down
as a storm rages we can try to pretend that it won’t affect us
how we see the world determines whether or not we see its beauty
there’s no easy path when one is exploring one’s imagination
