to smooth the rough spots is our goal; in doing so we remove nature
in the big picture the small beauties can get lost we need to see them
to approach chaos with caution and wonder, that’s how wisdom is born
we replace nature with factory grown flowers and call it beauty
for a brief moment we get our time in the sun and then it is past
when nature performs it’s not for our benefit we should still applaud
to see what is real we must first remove what is blocking our vision
the absurdities can also be beautiful when viewed in abstract
seen through a prism narrowly focused, the world can seem upside down
the path is obscured but we cannot be deterred we have to push on
