sometimes, for new growth we cut off the branch that is no longer growing
if we want to grow we must always try to grasp things outside our reach
the capacity for unlimited growth is ours for the taking
for better or worse our growth will always cover things that we neglect
nothing new happens unless we accept the risk just don’t be stupid
we all have a space dedicated for growing even if we’re lost
some grow straight and true others search along the way and build character
the shoots break the ground reaching out for the sunlight glad that winter’s passed
there will come a day when even this tiny stick will provide great shade
