stuck in the corners . the forgotten gather dust . until swept away
added over time . the layers are forgotten . until the spring thaw
whatever happens . it rests on shared history . largely forgotten
what is history . but shared experiences . that we pave over
something we dwell on has likely been forgotten by others involved
our infrastructure is hidden under layers of forgotten time
we ignore the cracks in the out-of-mind places ‘til something grows there
temporary things left long enough, forgotten become permanent
things long forgotten can be quickly remembered as if by magic
as the years go by it gets harder to recall what we’ve forgotten
