what’s interesting . might not be what’s on display . but its surroundings
promises broken . are never as important . as promises kept
focus on today . to prepare for tomorrow . it’s all we can do
to see one flower . requires making the effort . to ignore the rest
every raindrop . lands but once, delivering . on its promises
we cannot focus . on happiness, when we see . only the problems
in a planned landscape we are told what to look at and how to see it
while we are focused on one thing, everything else is happening
we tend to focus on what grabs our attention not what’s important
let my focus drift away from the daily noise toward what matters
