we use the same word to name our desires as we do our nightmares
there’s no way to know and even less right to judge other people’s dreams
maybe it’s a dream that we cannot wake up from or locate the door
we like to pretend every now and then that we’re living our dreams
fade to the distance their final impact unknown ripples of our dreams
in our waking lives we don’t grasp all that we see dreams try to fix that
when things don’t make sense in our daily lives, we hope they will in our dreams
can you imagine what you would do if all of your wishes came true?
the demands we place on life, help us forget; we have dreams to fulfill
the trick is to keep the dreams we had when younger as we grow older
