even when covered in snow, a bench can’t pretend to not be a bench
to cover something ugly with something else that’s ugly is failure
seemingly random designs are used to disguise mass produced mistakes
underneath the snow anything is possible but we know what’s there
with the first snowfall the sounds of the city are quietly subdued
what’s underneath is important, but it is the cover that we see
try to hide a flaw and you will only end up magnifying it
winter reminds us just how quickly things can change that we can’t control
we all have those times when the world is just too big and we need to hide
