when a sign comes down . it can be wrongly assumed . the road is open
when the boards come down people will wrongly assume it’s back to normal
the sidewalk is closed which is just as well, so is everything else
an empty hanger is hooked on the fence outside a closed restaurant
the path most taken is the path that goes around the sign that says ‘closed’
everything closed has the means to be opened if we find the key
where there was a door there used to be a passage now taken away
we wrongly assume that a chain, lock and a fence mean that it is closed
you must be open to move forward; but be closed to get something done
if we keep it closed it is no longer a gate it is now a fence
