we have these choices but we play it safe each day and make the same one
when we choose a path what we come across can say a lot about us
sometimes all we need are a couple of simple basics to choose from
not everyone who travels on the same path does so the same way
you have to choose one but i don’t like either choice at least you get one
what if each of us chose to ignore those who lie to keep us afraid
stare at the details and you miss the horizon herein lies the rub
even when tired sometimes the better choice is to remain standing
why vote, you will ask. and i will respond; your voice, use it or lose it.
