even as times change we want that which has been true to always be true
everything’s changed so we value those times when we can feel normal
the cool autumn air brings change that some will embrace and others will curse
most of the changes take place in the world because we’re the ones who’ve changed
after all of this normal will be different when we reopen
make a decision and then, somewhere down the road you can change your mind
we change the landscape to suit our needs; then must fix the changes we made
new things just show up with no explanation why and they’re here to stay
we each make the choice: help shape the changes we face or live life in fear
