when the path we take suffers from neglect, we must proceed with caution
how we came to be here is not as important as what to do next
it would seem that they who say we should be cautious are anything but
if we are aware we see the dangers and don’t let fear take over
too many people ignore warnings and fail to proceed with caution
despite precautions there are those among us who are still a hazard
we put up a sign because that’s easier than getting it right first
this coffee drinker should not be approached before his first morning cup
it is good advice when venturing someplace new: proceed with caution
when ever i see a sign like this, i wonder oh yeah? just how deep?
