there are barriers that we don’t notice because they’ve always been there
we build barriers for protection; often to protect them from us
we tend to believe that if there’s a door it is easily opened
the snow doesn’t care that we put up barriers snow does what snow does
if we are lucky there will be a warning on barriers we face
barriers we build are vulnerable to what we don’t understand
barriers exist but sometimes, if we look close there’s a way around
even forgotten the barriers we have built continue to stand
it’s for our safety that’s what we claim, but really it’s decoration
barriers are built to create differences where none existed
