every morning the flower opens without fanfare or notice
we ignore the signs we think are not meant for us at our own peril
i didn’t see it is not the same statement as it didn’t happen
one’s sense of self worth should never be hindered by one’s physical size
the ground dwelling bird does not stare up at the tree looking for its nest
in a perfect world we wouldn’t need signs that say hey, pay attention
if we are aware of the clues all around us we’ll know what is true
neither the bee nor the flower ever wonder what it’s all about
even when we’re safe it is important to be paying attention
