the paths that we walk have shadows from our past that we can walk right past
there are ideas that once made sense but today should be abandoned
to make something from nothing takes greater skill than nothing from something
reality is full of subtle nuances except when it’s not
ill equipped for the task at hand, we still manage to show up and try
we learn to not trust when things we are told are blatantly untrue
a wall keeps out all but a fence only keeps out what we don’t want in
we often feel stuck but we’re really just locked and need to find the key
in the cold night air as we rush home to get warm beauty is ignored
rather than see the possibilities, we see the limitations
