things we can’t control can stop us from acting on things we can control
in private moments we drop our guard, exposing our private burdens
everyone knows the truth but cannot agree on what the truth is
it is amazing what we protect and what we give away for free
without perspective we can easily jump to the wrong conclusion
before we conclude it’s a foggy day, check that it’s not the window
we feel more at ease if what we are looking at seems familiar
everything can be a greeting if it is the first time you meet
i didn’t see it is not the same statement as it didn’t happen
if something sparkles it must be a star, or so we are often told
