to fix what’s broken we first must break the system that created it
simple ideas can be difficult to sell and make a profit
we got into this we just need the right passage to help us get out
we cannot trust in everything that we see upon reflection
if we scrape away what someone else put on us what will we become
what we leave behind says less about who we are than where we leave it
almost without thought we dismiss many things as not worth the effort
how sad it must be to live in a world of fear and miss the wonder
by the time we see the warning signs, it’s likely already too late
