what something has been . does not make it the one thing . that it has to be
the opposite shore . has a much different view . of the same city
the sign, forgotten . after completing its job . remains in its place
in a reflection . the story is distorted . but is still believed
an all day journey . on tired feet, to find the place . that’s worth searching for
corndogs and cheese curds . entertainment on a stick . just watch where you step
when the job is done . it’s okay to stop spinning . and admire your work
maybe someone else . could find a use for this thing . nobody else wants
there is a way to . let in the sunlight without . letting in the heat
to change behavior . it needs to be as simple . as is possible
