to find inner peace it’s easier if we first see it in others
the dangers we face are not as threatening as those we imagine
some things lend themselves to giving us direction without us knowing
on hot summer days it’s often all we can do just to stand upright
we’re told that life is a never ending circle yet we don’t return
after a while the word used to describe it no longer applies
there are things we see when looked at differently become lightning bolts
we all like to help but given what we have, can only do so much
those who stand to gain cannot be trusted to say if the threat is real
life is serious but sometimes we can take it too seriously
