once, the path was clear but now it will take hard work to find it again
we avoid our fears by acting the same way as everyone else
rather than wonder what is out there, we wonder what is on netflix
we have been programmed to be constantly moving and never relax
all that we can see no matter what else we know is all we can prove
in bone chilling cold we learn to appreciate the simple comforts
as winter clamps down the frost sees an opening freezing windows shut
we tend to believe that one solution always fixes the problem
like a siren’s song winter’s beauty entices with hidden dangers
patterns repeating will become invisible if we’re not watching
