the most-used letter in the english language is never used alone
one way that they keep you and me apart is to build a fake divide
mostly we don’t know if our actions are noticed shine on anyway
at some point, you hope the wear of the years imparts some of its wisdom
we have the right to exercise our freedom; but not to be stupid
as the morning sun dances across the surface the lake doesn’t care
it just takes a breeze to stir up the lake’s surface and disrupt the calm
how much we can see is directly related to what we block out
the flower opens for only a few short days and that is enough
chaos is the rule and we respond with order or with more chaos
