there’s always the chance that what we do or say will be misunderstood
well lit in the night it looks like safety, or the teeth of a monster
we each make the choice: help shape the changes we face or live life in fear
there are things in life that we just need to accept so we can move on
the shift is subtle one grey cloud goes unnoticed but we have been warned
we are often sold a worthless idea as something of value
we wrongly assume that if a sign says something it applies to all
one thing about time: it allows us to forget what used to matter
we make a statement even when we’re not trying through our expressions
