even cool weather cannot stop the trees blooming it’s just what they do
the road reopens but many have not returned they’ve found other routes
we wait for spring, stuck indoors, which makes our winter memories warmer
spring feels late this year as the cherry tree slowly begins to flower
you can pound a nail with a wrench, but a hammer is the better choice
when idled, we see maybe we do not need this many shopping carts
if we don’t adjust our focus, we will end up with blurry pictures
when there is a sign that doesn’t mean what it says we should ignore it
no matter how deep the roots run, they’re only there to support the tree
we can feel lonely in the winter night; even if others are there
